Accomplishments

My name is Matthew D. Ryan.

I’m a writer, author, and wordsmith extraordinaire. I’ve written fantasy novels, developed gaming systems, and acquired a formidable repertoire of worldbuilding and literary skills.

I’ve worked as a freelance writer on the Upwork site for approximately four years now. I’ve written about food, pets, medical care, and a whole slew of other topics.

My interests range from fantasy literature & gaming to martial arts, chiropractic care, pets, and more. Of course, I am versatile enough that I can write on just about anything.

If you are interested, check out my Non-Fiction Portfolio to view a sampling of some of the projects I’ve completed. You’ll also find a more complete list of subjects I have some experience writing about.

In the meantime, check out some of my fantasy fiction work below.

You’ll find the cover designs and brief descriptions for the first four (of an expected five) books of my fantasy series “From the Ashes of Ruin.”

There are also links to Smashwords where you can purchase ebook copies of each of those works (Drasmyr is currently free). Additionally, you’ll find a listing of my other fantasy fiction – also with links should you wish to purchase them.

Although my specialty is the fantasy genre, I am also proficient in philosophical writing, non-fiction work, and even laymen’s scientific articles.
